Where are you from?
Southampton
Describe your music.
A music that takes everyone on the dance stage.
When did the band form?
2002
How did the band get its name?
Pukaar is basically a Urdu word which mean call. Our mission is to bring different cultures and music together under one roof.
Musical influences:
Traditional Folk and bhangra
The band's most memorable gig:
RoseBall Cricket Stadium on 16th October 2004.
Favourite song to play live:
Wan Kutia
Interesting band fact:
The most intresting thing about our band is that we are from different cultures and communities but when we play together on the stage then it did not seems that we are from different cultures. And this is a thing which people enjoy and love about our band.
