The
Plastik trio are:
Gareth Moss - vocals/guitar

Paul Cox - drums
The group have been writing and performing together seriously for
about two years and have many loyal local fans.
After meeting at Testwood School the lads went on to play in different
bands until Gareth pulled the trio together.

So,
why are they called Plastik? Is it because frontman Gareth pulls
some amazingly grotesque facial expressions? "Because you can reshape
and recycle it and it sums up the way the band approach music, crossing
over lots of different boundaries." Says Gareth.
The twenty somethings successfully draw on all their different influences
from Bowie, Hendrix and grunge through to pop to produce a well-polished
sound that can combine the likes of Donna Summer disco with thrash.
Live, they go down a storm with their energetic, theatrical performances
- recently they've even had some feedback from celebrities after
their gigs: "Graham Coxon from Blur came up to us after a gig and
said we were the best band there." Says Gareth.
The lads are planning to put a single out this summer and then go
on tour where they hope to get some festival interest.
