FACTS
tiny

The 'Larmer Tree' was actually a Wych Elm, which died in 1894. Nobody knows how it got its name.

The first Larmer Tree festival was a day of jazz and blues in 1990.

tiny We were roaming around the Larmer Tree festival, cameras at the ready, snapping all the live acts and carnival sights over the weekend.

From Misty In Roots, Smerins Anti-Social Club, the legendary DJ Derek, Hot Club of Cowtown, the numerous fairies and of course the carnival, we've captured it all!

If you were there you might even see yourself relaxing in the sunshine, throwing some shapes on a grassy dancefloor, or taking part in the carnival procession in one of our galleries.

Just click on the images below to re-live the festival's highlights.
