The Lizard Lounge has undergone a substantial refurbishment, adding the loft style Apartment 26 to its upper level. A few famous faces have been spotted there already including DJ James Zabiela, Norman Jay, Craig David, Gareth Gates, Mark Hill & James Beattie.

Two friends enjoy the celebrations

Four days of non-stop partying made this a birthday to remember, starting on Thursday with with an acoustic set from local band Pizmo Beach who gave us some chilled out tunes.

Local lads Bossnass whipped up the atmosphere with everyone's favourite funky covers creating such a party vibe the words on everyone lips were "Where's the after party?"

Friday kicked off with Departure Lounge featuring Vdub who revved up the mood with the best break beats, hip hop and funky anthems.

Getting in the party mood

As if that wasn't enough, Grammy award-winning artist Sukhvinder Singh Namdhari (Pinky) graced us with a set of dynamic tabla playing.

Saturday saw local Garage master Mark Hill of Artful Dodger unveil his new band The Stix and Emotive's Ashley Wilson threw on back to back party tunes to get people in the clubbing mood and feet on the dancefloor.

The celebrations came to a close on Sunday with reggae maestro Luke Storkey bringing in some chilled out Carribean vibes complete with full steel band to while away the afternoon and soothe sore, over-partied heads.
