Released
earlier this month, Cedars is the follow up to the highly acclaimed
Lido which won them fans as diverse as Jarvis Cocker, Mark and Lard
and The Delgados.
Recorded in France and Brighton, and produced with former Cocteau
Twin, Simon Raymonde, Cedars features gorgeous, poignant melodies
and sharply observed lyrics about everyday life.

| The
four lads are back after an 18 month hiatus. |
The
rousing, powerful collection of songs have a distinct whiff of The
Smiths and a slight twist of Crowded House.
They stretch effortlessly from the simple veiled love song Almost
The Same with its buzzy, dark guitar riffs which will make your
spine tingle - to Come Into The Darkness, a twisted, overcast tune
with full-on guitars that will make your toes curl to the gently,
uplifting Keep Smiling, which does exactly what it says.
The
band have announced a short UK tour in March where they will be
showing off the album - make sure you check them out when they float
into Southampton.
