Beck's
Futures 2003
Southampton City Art Gallery
26
September – 30 November
Scorpions and diamonds, moaning mummies, Egyptian love songs are
all part of the Beck's Futures 2003 at Southampton City Art Gallery.
Beck’s Futures has established itself as one of the country’s most
generous art prizes and this year's crop of artists have used film,
video, sculpture, public performance and digital media to reflect
our daily lives in startling, humorous and often unsettling ways.
In conjunction ArtSway, Contemporary Visual Art in the New Forest,
will be hosting screenings of the Beck’s Futures 2003: Student Prize
for Film and Video featuring 14 young artists’ work
