The Tudor House museum is one of Southampton's older buildings,
dating from the 15th Century. It is widely believed to be haunted.
Paranormal investigator Andrew House spent a night there and sent
us his report. |

The
Society of paranormal investigators spent one night in Tudor House,
one of Southampton’s most Haunted locations.
Staff had told us that there was one room where Dogs refused to enter
and another room in which many people, including members of the public,
have had paranormal experiences.

| The
green room is said to be one of the most haunted parts of the
building |
We began
by performing 'base line' tests, taking background readings on our
EMF meter. We found no magnetic fluctuations.
The first room we decided to investigate was the green room, on the
first floor of the house where apparitions had been seen and Dogs
had refused to enter.
Using dowsing rods, it appeared we had contacted a spirit. The spirit
indicated that it did not want us in the building and it was at this
point that several members saw a dark figure at the other end of the
room.

| Orb,
caught on camera in the Georgian bedroom |
In the
upper Georgian room, we caught many orbs on our digital cameras and
I felt something touch my head. It was in this room that the EMF reader
detected strong magnetic fields. Remember - during the base line tests
carried out earlier, no magnetic fluctuations were found.
The most impressive moment of our investigation was when three of
us heard footsteps on the floor above us. This was followed by a loud
bang. I ran upstairs to find out what it was. As we looked around
the house, I felt breathing in my ear but no reason could be found
for any of these paranormal events.
The investigation at Tudor House went well and we all felt many paranormal
experiences. Admittedly 90% of the experiences could be explained,
but 10% could not. It's that 10% you have to worry about!
