Around Carers is a 'meeting place on the phone' for carers. It's a chance for
anyone who looks after a friend or family member to have a regular, friendly chat
with other carers in their area.|
The project began over two years ago and
proved so popular, that we want to raise some funds to bring it back - and that's
where we need your help.
If you have an old mobile phone lying around,
whether it's working or not, we can recycle it to raise funds to get the project
All you have to do to help is call our special recycle-line
number freephone 08000 560 780 to get a freepost recycling envelope; or
you can do it online at recycle4charity.
We can also raise funds from recycling inkjet printer cartridges too.
you have more than just a couple of phones or printer cartridges to recycle, you
can have one of our recycling collection bins.
The project was set up by the BBC and Community Network - the registered charity
which runs telephone conferences for other charities and not-for-profit organisations.
