Diane Louise Jordan explores Cornwall where she uncovers the secret life of seals, meets skateboarding surfers, walks in the footsteps of Cornwall's patron saint and makes sure that her visit to a Cornish tin mine goes with a bang! Truro Cathedral is the stunning setting for hymns which include O God Our Help In Ages Past, Lord Of Beauty, Thine The Splendour and Christ Triumphant, Ever Reigning and there's music from Hayley Westenra, Daniel Boys and Truro Cathedral Choir.

SUE SAYER and THE REV RALPH BARBER
Sue and Ralph are both members of British Divers Marine Life Rescue, who rescue seals in distress and are also involved with the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek. Ralph is a Chaplain with the Royal Navy. Sue is spending a sabbatical year studying seals and during this time is writing 2 books about them, she is also a member of Cornwall Seal Group [established in 2004 with the aim of sharing information about seals] and the Cornish Wildlife Trust.

EILEEN CARTER
Eileen is a trustee of the St Piran Trust. The aim of the Trust is to develop and protect the historic sites on Gear Sands connected to St Piran [including the Oratory of St Piran and the Church of St Piran] and to promote awareness of their significance for Cornwall. Saint Piran is the patron saint of tin-miners.

MARK KACZMAREK
Mark comes from a mining family and was a miner at South Crofty for 17 years until the mine closed. Following a serious mining accident in 1997 Mark now teaches schoolchildren about Cornwall's mining heritage and his life as a miner.
Mark works for Camborne School of Mines, a specialist department of the University of Exeter, whose students are allowed to practise mining at Holman Test Mine. www.exeter.ac.uk/cornwall/academic_departments/csm/

HENRY CAVENDER and KRIS LANNAN
Henry and Kris run Tubestation, the surfers' church located in a former Methodist Chapel by the beach in Polzeath. The charity provides various resources to the local community including sports facilities and an internet cafe. Kris and Henry are both members of Christian Surfers UK.
