ANGELA MCCALLISTER - Northern Ireland Foster Carer of the Year 2007

Angela (50) has been fostering children for the past 12 years and was nominated by her first foster child, Rachel, who is now embarking on a university career. After battling cancer in 2006 Angela celebrated her recovery from the disease by abseiling down one of Northern Ireland's most famous hotels - The Europa in the heart of Belfast.

MELANIE HIGGINS

Melanie was horrifically burned and her sister Amanda fatally injured when the family car in which they were sitting burst into flames in 1988. She has endured more than 200 oplerations and received over half a million stitches to rebuild her face. Now happily married to Brian since 2005, Melanie recently gave birth to the couples first baby - William.

DANA
Winner of the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest she has enjoyed a musical career in popular and religious music both here and in America. Dana also performs on the programme
