Songs of Praise from St Bartholomew the Great

General:
 Pam Rhodes visits the Priory Church of St Bartholomew the Great - one of London's oldest churches - featured in the hit film Four Weddings and a Funeral. She finds out about the Church's monastic beginnings, discovers its link with St Bartholomew's Hospital and explores nearby Smithfield Meat Market and the Old Bailey.


Interviews:
 Rev Dr Martin Dudley
Rev Dr Martin Dudley is the rector of The Priory Church of St Bartholomew the Great and keen historian. In his interview he tells the story of Rahire, the founder of the Church and also talks about the History and Architecture of the Church.


Martin Seymour
Martin is a London Cab driver. He talks about how he came to be a Christian and how he has changed since.


Professor Nick Goulding
Nick is a Professor of Pharmacology and leads a research team investigating rheumatoid arthritis. He works at the William Harvey Research Institute which is part of Barts Hospital and one of the foremost research institutions in the world. Nick talks about his passion for science and what being a Christian means to him and his work. He also talks about being Chaplain to the Medical Students.


Virginia Rounding
Virginia Rounding is an author of historical biography's and has written a booklet called '65 Years of Weddings at St Bartholomew's'. She is often a Verger at the Weddings that take place at St Bartholomew the Great and in her interview she talks about the weddings that have taken place over the years including the famous wedding in the hit film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' starring Hugh Grant.


Mark Williams
Mark is a Criminal Lawyer and has his own practice in the South East. His firm is within the Old Bailey District and at any one time he has a case at the Old Bailey that he or one of his team of 25 is dealing with. Mark is passionate about working in Criminal Law and his Firm has a Christian foundation and ethos. In his interview Mark talks about his faith at work and how he helps those who've been involved in crime, drugs and alcohol to rebuild their lives through the Farncombe House Project.
