Songs of Praise - Christian Craftsmanship (Ely)

Presented by Aled Jones

General:
Aled Jones visits Ely Cathedral to meet a diverse range of craftsmen and women who have contributed to this magnificent place of worship including celebrated sculptor David Wynne who explains the inspiration behind the controversial 'Virgin Mary'. Aled also explores the treasures of the stained glass museum, uncovers the secrets of the lantern tower and discovers why one small corner of the cathedral has been transformed by a local artist. Mal Pope guests with a new arrangement of 'Take my Life and let it be' and students from Jesus College Cambridge sing the classic hymns 'Immortal Invisible', 'Teach me my God and King' and 'O Thou Who Camest from above'.
