Songs of Praise and the stories of Jesus

 Pam Rhodes meets the Prodigal Son, the Good Samaritan and the woman who built her house upon a rock, as Songs of Praise brings to life some of the best known characters in the stories Jesus told. Heather Small sings her special version of Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and the winners of this year's Songs of Praise School Choir Festival sing Tell me the old, old story, Who would true valour see and Fairest Lord Jesus.

Pam talks to Shannon Ledbetter
Shannon was a model who has now become a Deacon in the Church of England. Shannon talks about her transition from Model to Deacon and the changes that have happened in her life.

Parable – The Prodigal Son
Pam talks to Simon Virgo and his parents Terry and Wendy.
Simon talks about how he ran away from his family home after problems and how later he returned. Terry and Wendy talk about how they felt and how they hoped and prayed he would return.

Parable – The Good Samaritan

Pam talks to Cynthia Bond
Cynthia talks about how when she first started working in England she had problems being accepted and how it made her feel
