Kim
entered a competition to name our new Bridgwater studio, which we
opened as part of the BBC Voices project in the town.
She
suggested calling it The Speak Out, and her idea was chosen from
more than 100 entries.

Kim,
who's 13, attends Chilton Trinity Technology College, and her prize
was to be a BBC reporter for a day.
She
spent a day at the radio station on 6 June 2003 when BBC boss Greg
Dyke visited.
She
also joined him in unveiling a plaque to officially open the station's
new Taunton premises.

Kim
said she was thrilled about winning the competition: "It will
be the biggest day of my life, and I'm looking forward to interviewing
the Director General.
"I
want to ask him about doing more programmes for young people, and
whether he will include netball as part of the sports output,"
she added.
Kim
made her debut broadcast in Jo
Phillips' show between 9am and 12pm, and her exclusive interview
with Greg Dyke could be heard on Adam
Thomas' show between 2 and 4pm.
