The Victoria Art Gallery in Bath is looking for artists who want to exhibit their work as part of the Bath Society of Artists' annual show.

Formaldehyde or female alter-ego?

You can submit up to two pieces of art for the exhibition which need to be handed in at the gallery on Saturday 17 July between 10.30am and 3.30pm.

Damien Hirst

Damien Hirst, with more cows!

The judging takes place the following day and the chosen work will be displayed in the show which runs from Saturday 24 July to Friday 17 September.

Your exhibits can be paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints or mixed media. Photography is not permitted, however.

And the winner of the Turner prize is...

Prizes of up to £1000 are on offer for the most outstanding work in the exhibition.

There's a public choice prize, an award for the best three dimensional work and a young artists prize.

Jon Benington, curator of the gallery, says: "Last year's exhibition attracted almost 15,000 visitors and featured around 300 works in a dazzling variety of styles.

"This is a great chance for aspiring artists to have their work displayed at a prominent art gallery."
