Voted the winner of the Yahoo! People's Choice Award 2006, Cowforce was developed with children's communication agency Paperhorse (also based in Bath). The website is aimed at seven to 11-year-olds and features four farm animal characters who guide visitors around the site, giving them an idea of what life is like for children in Africa.

"Cowforce sets a new benchmark for how charities communicate with kids online," said Mik Phillips, Creative Director of Paperhorse. "It's both an entertaining and memorable experience, but it also gives children an opportunity to take practical action against poverty as they explore it." Launched in 2006, Cowforce also proved popular with a panel of judges when it won Yahoo!'s charity category award earlier in January 2007.

The website is supported by a range of printed and online materials to aid parents, teachers and youth workers. Future plans include the launch of an online club, which aims to get children more involved and give them the opportunity to help change their world.
