Jules Reason on guitar and vocals; Dave Savage on bass; and Steve Parsons on drums.

Taunton, and Bristol

When did you form?

In 2002

How did you get together?

We collectively always had the desire to create original music.

Torn

We have all been friends for years, and in 2002 we decided that our time had arrived.

How would you describe your music?

Alternative mind-funk

How did the band gets its name?

A band called The Wedding Present had a song titled Torn on Desire.

Who are your musical influences?

Radiohead, Richard Ashcroft, Led Zeppelin and Hawkwind, to name a few.

What is your most memorable gig so far?

Playing to a brilliant audience at The Prom in Bristol.

Where would you most like to play?

Headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glasters.

Finally, tell us some interesting facts about yourself

We see music as art - the Torn experience has become a collectively cathartic kind of process.

The bassist and drummer did make idiots of themselves on MTV!
