Corp Joe Murray

Interview: Corp Joe Murray from Bad Lads Army

Corporal Joe Murray, who lives in the county, puts BBC's Somerset Sound's Jo Phillips through her paces, as the new series of Bad Lads Army gets underway.

A fresh cohort of 30 of Britain's toughest troublemakers is getting a taste of military discipline in the new series of the ITV reality show from 11 July 2006.

In Bad Lads Army: Extreme, the recruits face the most daunting challenge to date - training to be Paras and a terrifying 3,500-foot solo parachute jump.

Not a man to be messed with

Corp Joe Murray

The return of the formidable Corporal Joe Murray will surely have new recruits questioning what they have got themselves into.

Murray was one of the main characters to emerge from the past two series of Bad Lads Army.

With an intimidating stature and a booming Scottish voice, he's certainly not a man to be messed with!

However, what the recruits need to quickly learn is that if they give him his deserved respect, he will repay it in kind.

Find out if BBC Somerset Sound's Jo Phillips shaped up by listening to her interview:
