Who are The Pneumatics?

Rob Kilduff on lead vocals, Jeff Bird on guitar and vocals, Scott Andrews on bass guitar and vocals, and Tim Yard on drums.

When did you form?

Late summer, 2005

How did you get together?

We're all friends, and we started writing songs together. We evolved.

How would you describe your music?

Post punk, new wave, garage rock built on harmonies and riffs.

How did the band gets its name?

It came up in a drunken name-choosing session, and we stuck with it 'cause we liked it.

Who are your musical influences?

XTC, Pixies, Kinks, Weezer, Hollies, The Pretenders.

What is your most memorable gig so far?

The Pneumatics

The Wunderbar in Midsomer Norton (there is such a place, believe it or not).

Where would you most like to play?

Glastonbury, London, the world, constantly.

We are four. There are many fours, but we are new - a collage arranged according to the laws of chance...
