How, and why, did you get started?

I visited Ibiza on a family holiday and got hooked on a strange kind of music I had not heard before - long live Bora Bora!

Where do you DJ locally?

Hahahahaha! Every place in my local town with turntables - oh, and a few without where I bring a 'carry-in' :D

What's your style?

Spanky got hooked on DJ-ing after visiting Ibiza

Erm, lots, from breaks to tech house, to US garage and 4/4 funky, from James Brown to Martin Solveig.

What do you listen to when you're not DJ-ing?

Other people's mixes, my own mixes (to criticise - one can never be perfect on the fly on 12"), Chris Moyles, Paul Conroy, Tongy, and, when I'm in the shower, Julius O'Riordan.

Who's your fave DJ?

It changes hourly

Where would you most like to play?

Anywhere where the majority of people have the same musical wavelength, and everything I play pleases them.

I like to play the kind of music that keeps people dancing, not play to the 2% of DJs in that particular club.

Finally, tell us some interesting facts about yourself

I can play the saxophone - in fact I can play any woodwind instrument.

I also play the flute, guitar and piano. However, I cannot sing, I cannot dance (I am really rubbish), but I have a serious appreciation for music and its fans.
