In first-half stoppage time, Sodje moved up from the back to put Yeovil into the lead from close range.

Eight minutes into the second half, the Glovers were awarded a penalty when Lee Beevers fouled Darren Way, and Phil Jevons converted the goal.

It was then left to Sodje to wrap up the scoring with his second strike - a great header in the 78th minute.

We are the champions!

An open-top bus took the Yeovil players around the town on Monday 9 May. There was also a civic reception that evening.

They were brilliant this season. I watch two games on TV and I was proud to see that they can play equal with Premiership clubs. Next season will be tough but I know that Gary will be in the special mood. I expect play off, nothing less, nothing more.

Alex Hart
Incredible achievement, well done lads! Just 10 years ago we were playing in the ICIS league - from Heybridge to Hillsborough! Can't wait!

Paul Bish
Absolutely fantastic. It's also great for Somerset in general, as well as Yeovil fans. It raises Somerset's profile, away supporters often turn a match day into a long weekend, therefore boosting the economy. At the moment though, all I care about is that we are the Champions of League 2!

Josh Green
