Unless
you've been on another planet, The Bath Fringe has been running
in the city for the last week and closes for another year on Sunday
8 June.
The
Spiegel Palace on the Recreation Ground with the mirror-bedecked
Art Nouveau splendour has
been home to a number of events, including the Buskers Union semi-final
competition to find the best busker.
It
saw more than 50 buskers competing against each other with the
general public voting on who they thought deserved the term street
idol.

final of the busker competition will be held at The Edinburgh
Festival... |
Brothers
Tom, aged 21, and 14-year-old Rory, of Oxford, have now been named
the semi-final winners.
They've
secured exclusive tickets to Glastonbury and their own CD single
- courtesy of the Buskers Union.
Tom
said: "I have been once or twice to Glastonbury but my brother
has always wanted to go.
"This
is a great chance and we can't wait to play our own set. It is going
to be really special and something we won't forget."
Buskers
Union organiser Tylluan said: "They blew the audience away
with an action packed display of skill and style.
"When
they were announced as winners the audience appeared delighted and
the boys said it was a dream come true," she added.
The pair will be playing at the Glastonbury Festival on
the bandstand in the market place.
