As with many live TV programmes there are no plans to release a DVD of the series.
How can I take part in the survey?
The Springwatch survey 2007 is now up and running. Look out for and record when you first see each of the six Springwatch species. You can enter your records on the website.
I have fantastic wildlife where I live. Can you come and film?
We are unable to come and film where people live or work. However if you have some good film (Hi8, DV, DVD) of unusual animals or their behaviour that you've taken yourself we'd like to hear from you. Please go to Caught on camera.
What music is used in the Springwatch title sequence?
The music used on the Springwatch titles and end credits was specially composed for the series by David Poore.
How can I set up my own nestbox cam?
You can buy nest boxes with webcams already fitted from wildlife goods suppliers. You can find out more about setting up your own webcams on BBC Webwise. Make sure that you don't disturb nesting birds by watching them. Once the nest box and cam have been fitted you should make sure that they remain undisturbed until the nesting season is finished.
As a general rule don't approach or handle wildlife yourself. However if you do find an animal in distress find out what to do and who to contact here.
In an emergency call the RSPCA's national 24-hour cruelty and advice line on: 0870 5555 999. Don't move the animal, but record the exact location where you saw it.
Where is the Springwatch farm?
The Springwatch organic farm is in Devon. We don't disclose the details of its location as it is a working farm and family home.
