Always I have loved to travel. It was my dream. First, I was leaving my family home just for short journeys. I went to see my cousin from another city or I decided to join a school trip. The beginnings were quite interesting, but it was always with some limit. I have to for example be home at a certain time. That means I couldn't see everything what I wanted to.

Finally I was 18 and I became an adult. Of course it did not happened on one day, but my parents were saying that I'm going to decide about myself after 18. So I've decided...and it was a mistake.

On my summer's holiday, just after the end of the school year, I met a French family on the internet. I bought a ticket and I went there to be an au pair. Unfortunately I got lost in Paris. I couldn't find the underground to get to the train station. It was horrible walking around and asking people in a language I knew from only a few lessons. When I found the right station it was already too late to go anywhere. My travel colleague offered me her own room to sleep. In this case I spent a night in Paris. Next morning I was in Rennes and from there I went to San Malo to my new family.

I was there three months. It was really difficult for me because I didn't have fellow country people. But it was my first journey with lots of adventure.

After a year my best friend invited me to New York. For a long time I didn't give her an answer. When she pushed me I just said "yes". In this moment I began my most beautiful adventure. In fact I was working very hard but I was the happiest girl in the world. Friends, clubs, shopping and New York's atmosphere around! It was amazing. Of course I can say that I hadn't got any problems. I had but still I knew how to be happy.

I spent one year there. I came back with a lot of experience and memories. Now I needed time for my family, especially for my parents. I found a nice job in Poland, I met a great boy who is my fiancé now but I was still looking for something.

That's how I decided to come to UK. I treat it like a next big adventure, maybe the biggest one! Now I'm not by myself. I am with my boyfriend, I have an interesting job and I've started an English class.

All those things happened in 25 years. I hope it will be more if I will treat every day like the last one.
