2. Start to recognise some common homophones; completing worksheets. Ww/E2.1

T. introduce topics: revision of last week's topics: homophones (words that sound the same), vowel sounds.

Homophones
 
T. initiate discussion of homophones from last week. Anyone remember them? T. write on board, ask students to spell.
T. read story out which includes homophones. But wrong words are used! Get students to highlight words that are wrong (in pairs if possible). Then select correct spelling of word. Then write sentences containing the words.
