'Growing vegetables'

Objectives: At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
                      Sequence chronological writing.
                      Use initial letters to sequence words in alphabetical order.

 		 Give s. instructions on opening document. Demonstrate on white board.
 		 Follow instructions.

 		 Sequencing chronological writing.
 		 T. to provide list of duties needed to be carried out to grow vegetables from seeds.
 		 S. to sequence list chronologically from preparation of ground to harvesting of crop using cut and paste, then numbering technique.
 		 Handout 1 - vegetables list and handout 2 - instructions sheet.

 		 Sorting a list alphabetically.
 		 T. to ask s. to create table and enter text. T. demonstrate how to use alphabetical sort feature in table mode so as to present information in clear manner.
 		 S. enter text about sowing and harvesting then put in alphabetical order.
