This module is about measuring length, weight and capacity. It is aimed at Level 1 of the Basic Skills Curriculum in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and covers material in MSS1/L1.4.

Length, weight and capacity game
Learners can practise converting between cm, mm and metres and see a very practical outcome - if they get it right they successfully build a new garden shed.

Length quiz
Learners get a chance to test their knowledge of measuring items, distance and height.
They can also can print out a certificate if they score 50% or more in the quiz. This will appear as a link on the results page - click on the link and the certificate will appear in a new window. Learners can write their name on the certificate once it's printed.
Weight quiz
Learners can test their knowledge of weighing units.
They can print out a certificate if they score 50% or more in the quiz. This will appear as a link on the results page - click on the link and the certificate will appear in a new window. They can write their name on the certificate once it's printed.
Capacity quiz
Learners test their knowledge by estimating and comparing measurements.
They can print out a certificate if they score 50% or more in the quiz. This will appear as a link on the results page - click on the link and the certificate will appear in a new window. They can write their name on the certificate once it's printed.
