These are all different measurements of weight.

The metric units for weight are kilograms and grams.

Kilogram means one thousand grams. It can be abbreviated to kg or kilo. Gram can be abbreviated to g.

1 000 g = 1 kg.

Size related to weight

Which of these objects is the heaviest? A bowling ball or a pillow?

You should have picked the bowling ball as the heaviest object, even though a pillow is bigger. Remember, that it is not always the largest object which is the heaviest.

Weight is independent of the size of the object
