Raymond Barneveld has won his third Embassy World Darts title following a stunning 6-3 victory over Wales' Ritchie Davies.
Barneveld is a former postman who turned professional after his first Embassy title. He won the opening game of the first set, finishing it with a double one.
Davies, in contrast, struggled with nerves in his first world final, falling well behind before he even had a chance to settle in.
Barneveld, who won the title in 1998 and 1999, took the first set with a 132 finish despite Davies getting the first 180 of the evening in the same game.
The next sets went to the deciding game, but the Dutchman continually held the upper hand.
Barneveld showed his superior experience at the end of the third leg, hitting a treble 20, a single 20 and a double 18. Barneveld was now leading 3 sets to 0.
