A dyslexic boy who set up a website to offer help for other children with the condition has won a top internet award.
I Am Dyslexic.com, started by 13-year-old Barnaby Blackburn, is one of the 12 sites of 2002 chosen by the search engine Yahoo!
It tells his own life story, offers a chance for visitors to send in theirs, and provides games and tasks aimed at improving reading and writing skills.
Barnaby, from Godalming in Surrey, started the site when he was 11 years old, after finding nothing else which suited his needs.
Big help
He said: "It is about how I overcame my dyslexia. People send in things about how they have also overcome it.
I use my computer in school every day and it's a big help.
"My teachers think it's quite amazing. They have all been looking at the site and commenting on it."
I Am Dyslexic.com has gradually become more popular since its foundation and has so far attracted more than 80,000 hits.
