Couple arrested in UK over kidnap
 
A man and a woman both aged 30, believed to be Sri Lankans, have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and child abduction, police in UK said.

A statement by West Yorkshire police said two young children taken by the couple during a supervised visit in Leeds on 22 December have found them safe and well.

The two children, aged 9 and 2 were found by police officers at an address in Leicester on Saturday.

Ports and airports were on alert on Friday for a couple who have gone missing with two young children in Leeds.

Sri Lankan nationals Mohammed Fayzed and Shikiri Wahab, who may also go by the name Fatima Shikiri Wahab Aftab, are both 30 years old.

West Yorkshire Police said the couple had broken a court order by taking the youngsters from a supervised visit.

A children were taken from an address on Roundhay Road, Leeds, on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the children were taken from the Clifford Brooke Centre.
