Norway special envoy Bauer brings back a message from LTTE
Government has offered to fulfil the latest made demand by the LTTE.

The LTTE has made a request thru the Norwegian facilitator s to provide them with a helicopter that could accommodate ten people, the head of the government peace secretariat Palitha Kohona said.

"Though difficult, the government has agreed to LTTE demand as the government is fully committed to peace", he said.

Kohona said Norway special envoy, Jon Hanssen-Bauer and Norwegian Ambassador in Sri Lanka Hans Brattskar brought a message from Killinochchi which is not welcoming.

"LTTE has rejected the transport arrangement we have made through Norwegian government to provide them with a private helicopter in order to transport their regional commanders", he said.

The LTTE has made it clear to the Government that they would not proceed to Genva for talks untill they meet with regional comanders .
