Food stamps arrive in Vavuniya
Complaints have been made to the Poonthottam police station regarding six missing youths, police in Vavuniya said.

The complaints which was made by the relatives of the missing, has been forwarded to the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) and also to the International Red Cross the Vavuniya Police Inspector Abeysinghe Bandara said.

The youths disappeared on Sunday after leaving home to attend a memorial gathering of Kittu, an ex-LTTE veteran, relatives has told the police.

Food stamps

Five more complaints have been forwarded to the SLMM by the armed forces against the LTTE regarding certain incidents in Manar and Pesali.

LTTE has been accused of kidnapping young children, hoisting the LTTE flag, clashes with the forces and influencing civilians to violate peace by the security forces.

LTTE however deny the charges and accused the security forces for the incidents.

Special food stamps meanwhile have been sent by air to tsunami victims in Mullaithivu and Kilinochchi.
