The multi-use community centre is part of the Bridgnorth District Council's regeneration initiative.

The Severn Valley village of Highley is about 8 miles south of Bridgnorth and to the west of the river. With the help of a number of grants - including one from the European Union, the construction began in August 2003.

The facilities at the centre include:

A sports hall, changing facilities for outside sport and swimming and a fitness suite;

A community hall, youth room and social area;

Full childcare provision with a crèche, library and IT suite together with other accommodation for the police, a vet, health, catering, reception and a contact area for council services.

This webcam was originally set up by Bridgnorth District Council to cover the development of the centre.
