The
choice is between Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool airports
- unless you want to go even further afield, that is, in which case,
check out our airport map to
find out more.
Birmingham
Airport has a pretty good choice of destinations, especially
for those wanting to travel to and from Europe, some parts of the
Middle East and the former Soviet Union, as well as services to
New York (Newark).
Manchester,
with 90-odd airlines operating services, has probably the best choice
of all - and there are far too many destinations to list. Chances
are, if you want to fly to somewhere not covered by the other two
airports, you'll find a service from Manchester.
Liverpool
Airport, recently renamed in honour of former Beatle John Lennon,
is a much smaller operation but it's a departure point for two of
the biggest budget airlines flying to Europe's most popular holiday
destinations, so it shouldn't be ignored.
Our
guide includes all the destinations currently served by each of
the three airports, and the airlines operating from them. Most of
the airline websites include online booking facilities.
For
the latest information on arrivals and departures from each of the
three airports, click on the links in the left hand panel of the
page.
And
if you want information on any of the other main airports in England,
you'll find links to their websites at the bottom of the page.
