Shrewsbury Abbey - the Lady Chapel
The Lady Chapel in Shrewsbury Abbey did not survive the Dissolution and the Civil War that followed 100 years later, when the Abbey was shelled by Oliver Cromwell's men. This new Lady Chapel dates from the restoration of the church after the Civil War.
