Upon the death of his father, Varyam takes his ashes back to his dad's village. Being a doctor, he sets up a village clinic and becomes close to the locals without revealing his real identity.

When he meets Preet (the girl chosen by his deceased father), Varyam falls for her simplicity and innocence and in no time they fall in love.

But will Varyam's step mother fulfil his father's last rites? And will she accept him as part of her family and bring Preet to her house as her daughter-in-law?
