Heyy Babyy a stupendous box office success

Bollywood distributor, Eros International, announced the stupendous opening of Heyy Babyy released on 24 August 2007.

Directed by Sajid Khan, Heyy Babyy raced to UK Top 10 charts in the same period during its weekend release.

The film stars comedy trio Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh in lead roles, with a new glamorous look for Vidya Balan. Heyy Babyy was one of the most highly anticipated comedies of the year.

This comedy is based on the lives of three men sworn to bachelorhood who suddenly find their dating and mating ritual irreparably destroyed when a very little roommate lands up on their doorstep complete with her crib and dirty nappy.

Sunil Lulla, president of Eros International (India) said, "Audience reactions worldwide to Heyy Babyy have been extremely encouraging espcially in the UK. With Sajid Khan's direction and talents like Akshay, Fardeen, Ritesh and Vidya, Heyy Babyy was bound to be a stupendous hit."

While enjoying in the success of Heyy Babyy, Eros International has already announced their next release, which is going to be a children's feature this September 2007.

Titled, Nanhe Jaisalmer, the film releases on 14 September and stars Bobby Deol and young talent Dwij Yadav.

Nanhe Jaisalmer tells the story of two friends from two different worlds. The protagonists of this film are a ten-year-old Nanhe Jaisalmer and his idol, Bollywood superstar Bobby Deol.

Set in the desert city of Jaisalmer, the story spans a short period in Nanhe's life when he learns the most important lessons from the person he most respects - his friend, Bobby Deol.
