This
laugh riot focuses on Prem (Salman), a love guru and a legend in
his own right.
He
has helped countless of men in wooing ladies of their dreams.
Onto
the scene enters Bhaskar (Govinda), a chubby, bespectacled, meek
guy, who is smitten by the beauty of Priya (Katrina).
She
is a multi-millionaire heiress of Jaisingh Group of Industries.
Bhaskar
turns to Prem for some 'love advice'. Reluctant at first, Prem eventually
gives in to Bhaskar's wishes.
Meanwhile,
Prem himself, falls for Naina (Lara), a journalist on the run from
'dangerous' underworld Chotta Don (Rajpal).
With
Prem's assistance, Bhaskar makes an impression on Priya by winning
her affection whilst the love guru himself finds his tried and tested
formulae are no match for Naina.
Director
David Dhawan makes a grand comeback after a gap of one and a half
years with this two hour entertainer which is crazier, more stylish
and slicker than his previous comic capers.
Although
Govinda and Salman share the same screen presence throughout the
film, it is Govinda who wins you over with his incredible comic
timing and flexible dancing skills despite being slightly on the
chubby side.
Salman
gives able support to this veteran and talented actor as the super
cool, confident Prem who has women falling at his feet!
The
dazzling Lara, plays a journalist but seems to be taking more pictures
than writing, giving you the impression that she is a tabloid photographer.
Katrina
provides the glamour and pairs of very well with Govinda.
On
the whole, Partner is a non stop slapstick humorous entertainer
which is proving to be a a big success at the UK box office this
summer.
One
to watch if laughter is what you are looking for!
