This
fast paced thriller revolves around Sophie (Urvashi), a middle class,
happy-go-lucky girl working at Burger King in order to pay her rent.
Her
landlord happens to be Karan (Bobby), a lonely millionaire guy who
has taken fancy to his beautiful tenant.
With
marriage looming on the horizon, Sophie bumps into Vicky, a struggling
actor, on one of her nights out with the girls.
Cupid
strikes and the two become drawn to each other.
As
the plot unravels, an unknown figure is seen watching and filming
all three characters as their concealed intentions are unmasked.
This
takes place at a rapid pace in this whodunit from the masters of
suspense, Abbas and Mustan.
The
directors, once again come up with a modern day glossy thriller
based in Dubai.
With
a gripping narrative and slick editing coupled with a sombre musical
score, Naqaab is both riveting and engaging with non stop twists
and turns keeping you glues to the screen.
Akshaye
Khanna gives his usual best relegating Bobby Deol to the sideline
when they share the same screen presence in some scenes.
But
it is newcomer Urvashi Sharma who leaves an impact with her confident
nature in front of the camera.
She
appears at ease in all the frames especially in emotional scenes.
This
actress is sure to dominate the Bollywood limelight in days to come
thanks to directors Abbas-Mustan.
They
are known for giving new faces the much needed Bollywood break!
