Sanjay Mishra (Shreyas Talpade) comes from a village.

He shares his college hostel room with rich cosmopolitan guy, Apurv (Imaad Shah).

Determined and focused, Sanjay is a student who is also an active leader in politics.

On the other hand, Apurv is carefree by nature who can never make up his mind. Instead, he finds pleasure in the company of girls.

The female characters in this movie consists of:

Vaishali (Smriti Mishra), a prostitute who claims not to be emotionally attached to her customers.

Prerna (Nikita Anand), a rich and ambitious character from Delhi. She dreams of becoming an international model. But she falls in love with Sanjay.

Kintu (Ishitta Sharma), a simple natured girl who gets a tough time from Apurv.

Dil Dosti Etc uses a rich ensemble of characters, stories and themes to explore the very nature of friendship, male bonding, love and betrayal.

The film stars Nikita Anand who was 'Miss India 2003'.

She made her Bollywood debut with Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee and will now be seen in Prakash Jha's Dil Dosti Etc.

The film's shooting schedule is well underway and a release date should be available soon.
