Ali Khan in Tara Rum Pum | Those
of you who have already seen the cinema trailer of this film will realise that
the story focuses on a car racing driver. And
if the earlier offering of Anand and Yash Raj Films is anything to go by, Tara
Rum Pum should certainly be another entertaining roller coaster ride of emotions. Barely
two months after Tara Rum Pum release comes Shaad Ali's third directorial
venture Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. With
a stellar cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta, and
Amitabh Bachchan in a special appearance, this movie looks set to repeat the UK
nationwide success of Bunty Aur Babli. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom releases
on 15 June 2007. Yash
Raj Film's support to young directorial talent continues with their third release
of the year, Chak De India, which is set to release in the UK cinemas around
10 August 2007. Directed
by Shimit Amin, it stars Shah Rukh Khan and will no doubt give a whole new profile
to sports themed films from India. Insiders
say that Chak De India is like nothing Amin has done before and will establish
him firmly as one of India's brightest commercial talents. The
festive seasons of Eid and Diwali will be celebrated in style this year with the
release of Pradeep Sarkar's film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag on 12 October.
With a
