Shocked by his condition, they take him to hospital for a medical examination.

Whilst recuperating, he suffers from recurring nightmares on the horrific atrocities of the war. He sees a face which he cannot identify.

Meanwhile, his family do all they can to help Ranjit regain his memory but to no avail. A disappointed Pammi gives up hope.

Rahul Dev: Can this b the face which haunts Ranjit?

But Simran promises to do everything she can, to get her brother back to normal.

She is helped by Ravi (Chandrachur Singh), her fiancé.

Simran's effort finally pays off when Ranjit recovers from his illness.

He finally gets a chance to identify the face which has been tormenting him in his sleep.

While Ranjit tries to overcome his nightmares, Pammi tries to make up for loss time with her husband.

Meanwhile, Simran is caught in the emotional dilemma between helping her brother in finding the man behind the face and her commitment to Ravi whom she has just got engaged to.

Mahima Choudhary
Mahima Choudhary plays sister to Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt plays a Sikh character for the first time in his acting career.

As Ranjit Singh, he has many roles to abide to.

As a soldier he wants revenge for his days in captivity, as the husband, he longs to be with his wife.

And as a brother, he acts as a father figure to his dear sister.

How the personal dilemmas for all these characters get solved, form the crux for this drama due for a release soon.

Previewed by Manish Gajjar, BBC Shropshire's Mr Bollywood.
