Siddharth Sardesai (Aftab Shivdasani), is a young scientist who has been experimenting with cloning for the past two years under the watchful eye of his project manager Dr Krishnan.

He aims to create another human being, not in a mother's womb but in a science laboratory.

Unfortunately for Siddharth, there are few people who do not approve of his experiment. Amongst them is Inspector Rathod (Rahul Dev).

Seeking financial help from girlfriend Aditi (Bipasha Basu)'s father, he continues to experiment on his own.

He begins to clone himself and after much perseverance he succeeds.

But his clone goes missing and all hell breaks loose when suddenly Siddharth is put behind bars for a crime he did not commit.

Much to his horror he realises that it is his clone who has been impersonating him no one believes him that he has cloned himself, not even Dr. Krishnan.

Meanwhile, the clone aims at taking over Siddharth's life and starts playing games.

He flirts with Dr. Krishnan's daughter Suchitra (Preeti Jhangiani) and has an affair with her.

The clone even kills Dr. Krishnan so that he can get his hands on the project report but all blame falls on Siddharth.

Close on his heels is a furious Inspector Rathod promising to put Siddharth behind bars for life.

Will Siddharth prove his innocence to the world?
