| Siddharth
Sardesai (Aftab Shivdasani), is a young scientist who has been experimenting with
cloning for the past two years under the watchful eye of his project manager Dr
Krishnan. He
aims to create another human being, not in a mother's womb but in a science laboratory. Unfortunately
for Siddharth, there are few people who do not approve of his experiment. Amongst
them is Inspector Rathod (Rahul Dev). Seeking financial help from girlfriend
Aditi (Bipasha Basu)'s father, he continues to experiment on his own. He
begins to clone himself and after much perseverance he succeeds. But
his clone goes missing and all hell breaks loose when suddenly Siddharth is put
behind bars for a crime he did not commit. Much
to his horror he realises that it is his clone who has been impersonating him
no one believes him that he has cloned himself, not even Dr. Krishnan. Meanwhile,
the clone aims at taking over Siddharth's life and starts playing games. He
flirts with Dr. Krishnan's daughter Suchitra (Preeti Jhangiani) and has an affair
with her. The
clone even kills Dr. Krishnan so that he can get his hands on the project report
but all blame falls on Siddharth. Close
on his heels is a furious Inspector Rathod promising to put Siddharth behind bars
for life. Will
