Vicky (Akshay Kumar) dreams of becoming a singer. The only person who stands beside him is his girlfriend Anjali (Amisha Patel) despite his continuous mischievous deeds.

Onto the scene comes Natasha (Karisma Kapoor), who completes the love triangle seen many times in Bollywood films.

Tension ensues in this love drama when owners of a music company Morani (Gulshan Grover) and Torani (Ashish Vidyarthi) decide to take revenge on Vicky for not accepting their offer.

Meanwhile, we learn that Natasha is the owner of a music company and she makes him an offer he cannot refuse - to make him a star.

But unknown to Vicky, Natasha has an ulterior motive. She has been in love with Vicky since the college days and so she has set up this music company to tempt Vicky.

Vicky buys her story and he flies off to America leaving his sweetheart behind. But once on American soil, Natasha makes the first move toward Vicky. He resists but later gives in to her affections…

As time goes by, Natasha's love turns into 'fatal attraction' style possessiveness.

The film has taken a long time to release since it was made - approximately one year ago which makes the film look out of date compared to recent releases.

The musical score by Nadeem-Shravan might be melodious but again this appears out-dated.

But having said this, Karisma and Amisha's wardrobe appear fresh. Both actresses have performed well and look great.

They keep you engrossed even though we have seen similar stories seen many times in Bollywood films.

Akshay Kumar looks great too and dances well in the musical sequences.

On the whole, Mere Jeevan Saathi (meaning my life partner) is a pure Bollywood masala appealing to the masses.

If you are looking for intellectual cinema, then avoid this one but if you are looking for a good time with fully flegded fantasy then this film is for you!
