Aditya Singh (Shahid Kapur) lives with his grandmother, sister Antara,
married brother Rohit who also has two children - Rohan and Rinky.
Aditya's
older brother, Ajay and his wife, died in a plan crash leaving behind
his children whom Aditya also takes care of.

Neha
(Amrita Rao) is the children's tutor who lives nearby. Both Aditya
and Neha are in love. They plan to get married but Aditya insists
that he will only tie the knot after his sister's marriage.
But
when his sister gets engaged, the groom demands a large sum in dowry.
Aditya is left with no choice but to re-mortgage his home to fulfil
the groom's wishes.
But
disaster strikes and Aditya dies. He finds himself facing a man
who introduces himself as Yamraj. He is here to take him to heaven.
When
Yamraj sees the future of Aditya's family without him, he is deeply
saddened.
So,
Yamraj gives him a chance to go back to earth to rectify his family's
future provided he abides to three conditions : Aditya cannot be
seen or heard; he must always be accompanied by Yamraj and lastly,
he only has a time span of a week before he returns to heaven forever
.
Will
Aditya be able to help his loved ones? Only time will tell and it's
running out on him very fast!
The
film also stars Arshad Warsi who plays Yamraj's fellow employee.
He is known as Fakira BPCM meaning Bhoot Pret Connection Medium
in the film.
In
this comic flick, BPCM has the power to interact with ghosts and
hence the name - a character very similar to Whoopie Goldberg in
the film, Ghost.
The
movie is said to have the best special effects ever seen in Bollywood
which includes a flying car along the lines of Chitty Chitty
Bang Bang and a character that can make itself invisible.
Released
by Venus Film in the UK, Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi has the Christmas
feel to it appealing to the whole family this holiday season.
