(Priyanshu) is the spoilt son of Mumbai-based millionaire, Vikarm Malhotra (Kadar
Khan).

Afraid
that her son may fall into bad company, Raj's mother (Reema Lagoo) gets him engaged
to Simran (Diya Mirza). Simran
is the daughter of a well off businessman who lives abroad. Presently
studying in Dubai, Simran has a lively nature who believes in enjoying life. Soon,
she meets Sameer (Rakesh Bapat), a young singer from Mumbai who comes to perform
in Dubai along with his group. Smitten by Sameer's charm she falls in love with
him. Meanwhile,
Raj, comes across Asha (Neha) who is a teacher to his younger sister. Totally
mesmerised by Asha's simplicity and innocence, Raj feels that she is the right
girl for him.

So as their
relationships evolves so does the melodrama as the parents get to know about their
children's desires and dreams. Koi
Mere Dil Mein Hai is a light hearted entertainer with dollops of comedy and
