and Rani | Restless
most of the time, Rakesh is always up to something or the other as he schemes
and plots against the village folks. Then
there is Vimmi who also lives in a small town called Pankinagar where life is
just too dull for this mischievous young lady. She
can't quite figure out where her duties as a small town, conservative daughter
end. One
day, Vimmi puts her best foot forward and starts a journey into a new land and
a new life. As a result she gets nicknamed Babli. Somewhere
along their individual journeys, Rakesh and Vimmi meet due to some accidental
circumstances. Nicknamed
Bunty and Babli, these two characters cause havoc wherever they
go. We
follow the duo from one caper to another, in which they meet the rajahs, powerbrokers,
shaadi bandwallahs, millionaires, ministers, banjaras and even the elephants!
But close on their heels is Dashrath Singh, a plain clothes Deputy Commissioner
of Police from the Crime Branch. He is out to catch these two small time crooks.
