The weather is passed a joke
 Evening, Sunday 25th July
Drying kit by the fire. Taken in from the rain and wind. Simon, John-Mark and Ciara

The dog has been doing its bit for raising money.

But as soon as Si turned his back, she made a run for it into the home of Ciara and John-Mark.

Hours later the 'kayaking for Cancer' crew were invited to a 40th Birthday party (and cake) as well as food and a bed for the night.

And managed to raise about 400 euro!

A miserable rainy...windy...winters day. The swell is still 2.9m at the offshore Buoy. I had to negotiate a tricky landing into Pollacheeny harbour. The weather is pasted a joke now but I hope to get a better day tomorrow.

It was not supposed to be easy but a little easier would be nice. On a positive note we managed to raise about 400 euro yesterday in a small village through a few random incidents!
