If I am to head around the corner I will be faced with strong winds against me. I hope to get back on the water later today
(Monday) when the wind has dropped a little. It is a little frustrating, but I know that we have to wait for the good weather to come. The fundraising is going very well with very warm receptions everywhere we go.

Update Monday evening - Ed
Force 5-6 winds are nothing new to Simon. However, because of the direction of the wind and the exposed nature of his position, kayaking in these conditions would be extremely hazzardous. Monday was spent entirely off the water and the weather forecast does not look good for the next few days.

We've also heard that the team have had a few problems with the van, although it seems these have now been resolved.
